SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Seniors at Bishop Heelan Catholic High School got to participate in a special tradition Wednesday.
The 2021 graduating class got to line up for a special class photo taken by a professional photographer.
Each of the over 90 students was outfitted with a pennant of the college that they will be attending.
Senior Madison Koob says that she enjoys the tradition because she can see who she will be going to college with, and where her classmates may be going.
"Yeah, I think it's really cool that Heelan does this, because its a really cool opportunity to see where all of your classmates and a lot of kids that you've grown up with since Kindergarten who have been in the Catholic school system to see where they're going and hopefully keep in touch and it's nice to see classmates that are going to the same colleges as you, so you kind of has that aspect of home away from home, "said Madison Koob, Bishop Heelan Senior.
The seniors were also treated to a catered breakfast which is also apart of this special day each year.
