Very warm and breezy weekend - The Dallas Morning News

The first weekend of May will feature warmer weather with increasing humidity and breezy south winds. High temperatures this afternoon will range from the mid 80s east of DFW, to the mid 90s well west of Fort Worth. The gustiest winds will occur during the afternoon hours each day with gusts around 30 mph.

Sunday will be muggy and even warmer with highs in the low 90s for DFW, with some triple digit heat to the west. Not quite as hot to the east of DFW where temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s.

The dry and very warm weather will persist into early next week with highs in the 90s. Monday is expected to be the warmest day with DFW highs in the mid 90s.

A cold front will arrive Tuesday with rain and storm chances well east of the DFW area. Temperatures will be back to normal on Wednesday with highs around 80.
