CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will send out an online form today for parents to make the decision between Traditional and Virtual schooling for the spring semester.
Parents, guardians, and other caretakers with students in CMCSS schools can expect to receive that form today, along with other communications from the school system.
This is what the school system announced in a Facebook posting earlier this morning:
Hello CMCSS families!
You will be receiving communication today including the online form to make the choice between Traditional and CMCSS K-12 Virtual school for the Spring semester.
If you experienced an issue when selecting Virtual, the technical error has been resolved. The link should be working properly now. Apologies for any confusion.
If you have questions regarding traditional or virtual, please contact your student’s enrolled school directly.
There will also be a CMCSS Formal School Board Meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at 621 Gracey Avenue. Last month’s meeting included discussions about mental health implementations for both students and faculty.
Also discussed were the COVID-19 protocols in place, how the school system is handling the traditional and virtual settings, and some technical issues with connectivity.
Despite these protocols, some schools however have been overwhelmed by the virus. Rossview Middle School is closed this week due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.
