The Indianola School Board approved their intention to move back to a previously scheduled school calendar at their meeting Monday evening, which is a planned process to get students back in school for a full day of learning rather than an early release. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News the process is at the early stages, and will require hiring staff, training, and a slowing down of the virus before it is possible. Sathoff also said the change would come at a natural time of the start of the second semester, which would be January 6th for year-round students and January 20th for traditional students.
