DTA returns to traditional summer services - WDIO

David Clark, Director of Marketing at the DTA said route numbers 4, 5, 15 and 25 will be restored. Additionally, late night service will be restored.

According to Clark, the DTA will also return to normal hours of operation. These are Monday through Friday 5:00am-1:00am, Saturday 6:00am-11:30pm and Sunday 6:30am-10:00pm.

“We felt it was important to restore some of the later trips. You know, some people have shift work where they are relying on some of our later busses for commuting and folks looking to do some things socially and get out into the community and have a safe way home,” Clark said.

Clark noted that the DTA is part of Duluth’s citywide mask ordinance, therefore, the DTA asks that people continue to wear masks on the bus and in the transit center.

Rear door boarding to allow for social distancing remains in place as well. And, fairs are still free to avoid spreading germs through high touch surfaces.

More information about the DTA’s routes can be found here.
